How it's built
Cut to your mark, finished to your spec.
Each letter or logo element is routed from solid material — acrylic, aluminum composite, or PVC — then edge-finished and painted or laminated. Stainless standoff studs thread through the backer and space the piece off the wall, casting a shadow line that gives it dimensional presence even in flat daylight. A laser-cut paper install template makes wall placement precise to within 1/16″.
1/4″ or 1/2″ cast acrylic, brushed aluminum, or PVC
Three material families, each with different weight, sheen, and edge character. Most logos in acrylic; heavy-use installs in aluminum.
Polished, eased, painted, or laminated
Acrylic edges can be flame-polished for optical clarity or eased for a matte look. PVC is painted any Sherwin-Williams color.
1/2″ or 1″ standoff hardware
Brushed stainless, polished chrome, or matte black threaded standoffs. Spacing calculated to weight and piece width.
Laser-cut paper guide
Precision-cut from your final artwork. Crew tapes it to the wall, drills through, removes template, mounts studs. No measuring errors.
Colors & finishes
Four material families, each with its own palette.
The finish you choose shapes the entire read of the logo. Brushed aluminum reads corporate and premium; painted acrylic is vivid and on-brand; clear acrylic is light and modern. Mix materials within a single mark for a layered effect.
Cast acrylic — 5 standards + custom
Cast acrylic is the most versatile option. Clear and frost catch ambient light beautifully; gloss colors are vivid from across the room.
Brushed aluminum — 3 tones
Aluminum composite (Dibond) or solid .040″ sheet. Brushed finish applied before routing. Gold and bronze tones are PVD-coated.
Painted PVC — any Sherwin-Williams color
PVC letters take a painted finish exceptionally well. Order your brand color by Sherwin-Williams number for an exact match. Cost-effective option for large letters.
Custom print wrap
Full-color vinyl wrap applied to the face and edges of acrylic or PVC. Accepts photographic art, gradients, or exact Pantone references. Best for complex brand marks.
- 3M IJ180Cv3 Matte — smooth matte face, ideal for logos with fine detail
- 3M IJ180Cv3 Gloss — vivid, high-contrast finishes for bold marks
- Metallic wrap — brushed silver or gold effect film, no machining required
- Pantone match — custom color management to spec, ±2 ΔE
Sizes & pricing
Priced by square-inch of material.
Letter area (the bounding box of your tallest and widest characters) sets the price. Thickness and material family determine the per-square-inch rate. Standoff hardware is quoted separately by piece count.
| Spec | Standard | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Width range | 6″ to 96″ wide | Larger sets are produced in sections and joined on-wall with hidden alignment studs. |
| Thickness | 1/4″ or 1/2″ | 1/4″ is standard for letters under 24″. 1/2″ gives more shadow depth on larger marks. |
| Acrylic rate | ~$0.85 / sq in | Minimum 6 sq in per piece. Complex curves add a small routing upcharge. |
| Brushed aluminum rate | ~$1.40 / sq in | Premium material; edge detailing included. |
| Pvc rate | ~$0.55 / sq in | Most economical; best for large painted letters. |
| Minimum order | $385 | Most reception walls run $600–$2,400 depending on size and material. |
Mounting
Three ways to put it on the wall.
Mounting method depends on wall substrate, piece weight, and whether you want visible hardware. All three look professional — it's a question of the finish character you're after.
Stud mount
The most common approach. Threaded standoffs space the letter 1/2″ or 1″ off the wall, casting a shadow that emphasizes the dimensional quality. Clean and precise.
Vhb tape
3M VHB double-sided foam tape for lighter pieces on clean drywall. Zero visible hardware, nothing to strip threads on. Best for logos under 15 lbs total.
Z-clip
Interlocking aluminum Z-clips for heavy or large pieces that need to be removed and repositioned (e.g., tenant changeovers). Rated to 80 lbs per clip pair.
